black person: please know that other pocs are measured on the blackness scale. note how white people would come up with slurs such as "sand niggers", "yellow niggers", etc. it shows that being black is pretty much the worse thing on earth, and that we'll always be oppressed due to anti-black racism.

brownpeople: really important and true. solidarity with fighting anti-blackracism, does not mean downplaying it, so we can quickly ALL talk about interconnected oppressions. Its about honouring the haitian slave revolt, the work of black folks in the diaspora, all of that, as work and struggle that must be respected first and foremost.
For real -- thanks for posting this. I don't want to be at the opression olympics, but I also refuse to skip a step (recognizing the violent hate thrown at black folks) in order to move on from there. there is no moving on. its real. we must see it, speak it, and listen to those who live it.
